Another sociable day!
Yesterday evening's pizza evening with friends went really well. The new pizza oven is astounding - the pizzas really did cook in around 60 seconds which was so amazing and was great fun to do. I think we will be firing it up instead of bothering with takeaway as it only takes 15 minutes to reach the correct temperature using wood (which gives a lovely flavour). The only downside was that once the sun went down the temperature plummeted and was a chilly evening outside. It's still only Spring LOL!
Today started with a delivery of the covers for the sofa bed - so we put those on and we're really pleased with how comfortable the sofa is. I like that we can change the covers in the future if we want to (plus - washable which is essential with cats!).
After lunch Youngest Cee and GF(P) came over and we went for a walk for just over two miles which was nice in the sunshine even though the wind was very chilly. They stayed for a catch up and a drink on the deck and have just gone home. Now we are relaxing - it's been a very nice weekend all told!
25. What physical traits have you inherited from your father?
I look more like my Father's side of the family, so blue eyes and wavy hair came from him - probably my height too, but both sides of the family are tall.
Local estimated Covid cases are down to 48 in my area. It's good to get under 50 and in reality the numbers in hospital are down into single digits. My area is the lowest in this part of London which is also good. I'm glad as it was thought that things would spike again. Caution is still important though of course and we're still wearing masks, making space, opening doors and windows and washing our hands. As manoah says - we abide!
