Thursday
Today started with a mouse. Mr Cee had got up slightly before me, and found all three cats starting at a mouse on the doormat which then promptly made a dash for safety and ran under the furniture we have along one of the walls in the living room. Where it evaded all three cats who sat and stared under the furniture for the next hour (they can't get behind it) - in the end we had to give up trying to catch it as it kept running from one end of the wall to the other behind the furniture.
I spent most of the morning in the glass studio clearing up as a lot of things had got dumped in there. About 10.30 Mr Cee tapped on the window and said he'd caught the mouse and was just on his way to the end of the garden to release it into the bushes there. Apparently the cats were staring at it as it sat in the middle of the living room rug. It was unharmed - so hopefully it's gone off to find it's home.
I also finally got around the cleaning up the stained glass panel I made using lead (which is a different technique I'm used to doing) back in September last year! I'm pleased with how it turned out, but to make the panel is much more forceful as you have to use hammers and horseshoe nails and all kinds of larger and more 'industrial' equipment and I'm not set up to do that in my little glass studio. I'm going to hang the panel in the 'snug' living room at the front of the house as it goes with the decor.
This afternoon we got the UK Census form through the door - they are encouraging everyone to do the census online, so I did that for both of us.
The rest of today will be spent cleaning the kitchen and doing some chores (boo!). It's pouring with rain again having started with very strong winds overnight (which kept waking me up) and rain, sun and calm, and now rain and wind again.... Ah Spring....
In the meantime I have questions:

I have more friends than family, but I like spending time with both. I probably see more friends as family are not local, but we communicate about the same amount via text and phone and email.
It's 11 months and 18 days since the first UK lockdown. It seems longer.....
