We had a bit more snow this morning, and they are threatening more for Wednesday which is annoying. We have had around 12cm/5" now, and under the snow is very thick ice where it's melted and refrozen. So it was good to stay in, and this morning was my Art Appreciation class. This week we looked at Marc Chagall, one of my favourite painters. Our teacher found some nice examples of his work and we looked at what he had painted and how it reflected his life at different times. A nice interactive class.
This afternoon I packed up my two Etsy orders, and while Mr Cee was finishing up with his work day I read some art books as I hardly every just sit and read during the day and it was a nice change. At 2.45 we walked to the local post office which isn't too far away just to see what the roads are like - the main roads are pretty clear and that's a relief as I have my delayed dental appointment tomorrow.
The rest of the afternoon was spent deciding whether we want to trade in our Leaf electric car for a new one. We've had this one 3 years and the garage rang yesterday to see if we wanted to swap it for a new one (for a price of course!). So Mr Cee and I talked about it and he went back to the garage and asked what the cost would be to trade ours in for a brand new model that has a higher spec battery (bigger battery=more miles per charge). We're very happy with the car and the new one would be almost identical, but a larger battery would give us around 240 miles on a single charge (currently we get around 170 miles). We've never been caught short of miles as we charge up at home and there's loads of places when we travel where you can rapid charge (usually for free, which gives you around 30 miles extra in about 10 minutes) - anyhoo we've decided to go for it as it seems sensible.
We've worked out in our Pilates class, and now we're watching Bob Ross painting happy little trees. Did I show you my Lego Bob Ross which Mr Cee bought me for Christmas?
Oh - and random - who wants to see A tour around Crofton Roman Villa near me? Click:

People will be fined £10,000 if they lie about where they have travelled from or fail to isolate and a 10 year prison sentence if you fail to disclose you've been in a 'red' country.
