In other news - anyone who bothered to read that will see that we only have 2 fish instead of the 3 new ones we bought a couple of weeks ago. One was floating in the tank yesterday evening after a couple of days of skulking near the bottom of the tank. I've owned fish for nearly 30 years and so I was keeping an eye on it, but clearly it was not well. We will see what the aquarium we bought it from will do about it - I'm hoping for a free replacement as the other two are fine.
It's been incredibly blustery and windy yesterday and today as Storm Brendan is currently crashing across the UK. It's not as bad as some areas and doesn't seem to be causing any damage but it's not very nice being outside. This morning at art appreciation class we looked looked at abstract expressionism. We started with Jackson Pollock - not really something I've looked at much, I am trying to be broad minded. Then I had an appointment at my doctor for a routine test, after which I went to the supermaket to buy groceries as we are missing some basic items for cooking.
Later there is the beginners Pilates class where I will be gently persuading people to move as the teacher has told them to move and not their version of it (body awareness can be lacking in some people), then after that I can relax as today has been a day of running about!
The 365 question today is: 14 Who was your very first best friend? Are you still in contact or communication with them? We met when we started infant school at age 5.I'm not in contact with her, although we stayed in contact until our early 20s. This was before Facebook and I wonder if it would have been easier to keep in touch if it had been around? Her last name was Smith, so I don't think I'd ever be able to find her again.... !
