Interwebs woes
My just over two year old laptop has been having issues connecting to the Internet over the last couple of weeks and has now refused to do so! It's apparently a fairly common problem with this model and so there are several suggestions including reseating the relevant card. However this has proved problematic as getting into the laptop is not straight forward - you have to take out the keyboard!

I love tech when it works - but when it doesn't it's so frustrating!
I'm waiting in today because last week I stopped to let someone cross a Zebra crossing and the person behind me didn't stop fast enough and skidded into the back of my Smart car. I've decided this car is unlucky. Of course it looked like nothing much had happened, but we exchanged details anyway (and a helpful witness provided her number too). As Smart cars are made by Mercedes I did warn the person who shunted me that it might be expensive unseen damage and it proved to be the case with an estimate of over £600 from our garage. So today I have to wait for her insurance people to pick up the car and it will be repaired over the coming week.
Normally I would miss it dreadfully as I don't like driving our Nissan very much, but Mr Cee and I are off for a couple of days in Cambridge next week (good old Amazon Local deals!) so it can be fixed while we are away :)
So today will be spent getting my winter jumpers and cardigans out of their storage bags as the weather is getting chilly!
