or is it colOr? I am finding it challenging to tutor those little facts that I really didn't grasp onto when I was in elementary school. I am also shocked that in grade 6 they are learning the classification of living things. Monera, Protista, Fungi, Oh My! Yes, I told them the joke about the mushroom being a "fun guy". Grade 6's are getting to the point where they no longer think I'm cool.... see why I don't teach high school?
So why am I updating? Because I have been so neglectful to LJ and my past patterns of blabbing on and on about random things in my life. And to ask you this: do watermelons belong in toilets?
The answer is no, they do not.
Why do I ask? My child, my dear precious child, he asks me this every day. Among other inappropriate things. I have been working one-on-one with a autistic child in an after school daycare. It is a challenge but one that is needed before going into my own classroom to teach. I haven't quite figured out the art to keeping things sane in our space, but it is a group effort most of the time!
I am tired. I bought new shirts and one of them is yellow. Rez likes yellow. I like blue.
I have lost all ability to actively discuss politics, music, even cheese! I don't talk about cheese anymore!! What is happening to me?!?!?!?
