So I was in Seattle last week, and all I could think about was how this is where
eliza_jane's Jared and Jensen walk around. Although I was mostly in downtown and they live(d) in Fremont. Fandom may be taking over my life.
I was also traveling in BC and saw this sign which amused me:

You just made want to read a football story, which is a miracle really, cause most of the time I ran away whenever people talk about either football or soccer. I'm so clumsy with a ball that's no even funny!

do iiiit! I really don't care for sports, like, not at all, and I absolutely loved this fic. The author's notes explain some things about football that I found helpful to follow the fic (at least the first one, I didn't bother for Hail Mary since I was already familiar with the 'verse) but it's not necessary, you can also read it just for the characters. It's one of my favourite J2 'verses ever.

Yeah I'll totally read it (starting with NMU of course), I'll tell you if I like it later... Thanks for the rec ;)

I'm so envious that you're going to VanCon! I do wish that Supernatural cons would be also held in other large cities in Canada, not just Vancouver. :< If I'm still in the fandom by next year, and if Creation Con is on next summer, I'm definitely planning a trip to BC. \o/
I have 'Green Means Go' bookmarked -- I'm looking forward to reading it! Also, I have the same opinion of 'The Sinister Nature...' as you: cute, fun, but some bits of the plot didn't quite work. I couldn't get into NMU the first time I tried reading it, but I'll probably give it another shot since I've seen nothing but raving reviews for 'Hail Mary'.

I'm pretty excited about going, tbh. And, I will admit that a huge part of the reason I'm going is because I can do it cheaply - it's gonna cost me like $20 to get to Vancouver. And no way am I getting a silver or a gold ticket. I may splurge on one photo op or so, but that's probably going to be it. Poor grad students gotta eat! Hopefully you'll be able to go one day!
I really enjoyed Green Means Go, and yeah, Sinister Nature was aaalmost there but not quite. I had problems with NMU but now that I see it in conjunction with Hail Mary it all makes sense and I forgive anything that I had hangups about before. I may be not as critical as I could be (I can be really fucking critical!) but I just fell in love with this Jared and Jensen, so yeah. heart!
also, wtf is with your icon! It's kinda creepy, in a kitschy sort of way...

I'll definitely give NMU another shot, then! It's all the football bits that I had trouble getting through, so maybe I'll do a bit of skimming at parts.
It's a teeny tiny tooth! There are other images (somewhere on the internet) of this teeny tooth along with other teeny teeth doing various things! :>

have fun! and sure, you can skim some football. I think my eyes glossed over a few times the first time I tried to get through it, but not nearly as much as I expected. I almost envy you, haha. (And god, now I hope I haven't hyped it up too much and you'll be disappointed! everyone's mmv, of course.)
that's... again, kinda creepy, but to each hir own! I may have a slight phobia of teeth :> although that's mostly dentist-related, haha. Carry on!

Love that sign :D
I would be very happy to beta for you, if you're still looking for somebody.
I also thought that 'The sinister nature of cul-de-sacs' was a good read.
