what a night...
I was supposed to go to a party tonight, or if not then help a friend move, but I was feeling crappy so I decided I was going to go home, park myself on my couch, and watch SPN instead. But that's not exactly how the night turned out...
after walking home I realized I didn't have my keys! I texted my friend to see if I'd left them where we'd just had dinner, but no dice. I was going to call my roommate to see if she'd be home soon, but then realized that her phone number wasn't in my new phone (drat). And on a night when the only thing I wanted to do was to lie down, being stuck outside my apartment building was not exactly the best thing that could have happened.
But all is not lost! For geeks like me. I took out my netbook, and connected to the wireless, which thankfully goes through walls. I managed to contact my roommate on facebook, she'll be home in an hour, and I'm hanging out at a coffee shop until then. Which has couches! Although I don't think they'd like it if I lied down. And who knows, maybe I'll even be able to watch the episode somewhere along this trip!
