Home earlier than thought

So yesterday i got sent home from work, had been feeling pretty ill for a few days. Alex was pampering me and all seemed well, had some soup, felt better, went over to his flatmate's friend's flat and had some xmas food. We got back to ALex's and i felt the urge to throw up for some reason. Fair does. I wasn't well etc. So we went to my flat to get some of my things so i could stay at his and he'd look after me. I felt alot better before bed.
4.30am i woke up with a start and realised immediately i couldnt breathe. I took some cough syrup and drank some water but i was struggling. I woke alex up and told him to call an ambulance.
SO there i was at half 5 in the morning, sitting in a wheelchair in Stirling Royal Infirmary wearing an oxygen mask and watching stomach-pump-happy drunks getting wheeled about the place.
I've been diagnosed as having a chest infection, caused by flu and i have to take antibiotics and find it very hard to draw breath. So I phoned my parents and they have whisked me back to Nairn for a longer xmas break than was originally planned.
Oh well, apparently it sucks to be me, but im going to go have a bath and then get reaquainted with an old friend called television. Boy ive missed it.

Had an email from Beth saying she's home safe. Very relieved. I think im turning into my mother. Kirsty left Stirling on saturday before the big infection dealy so the flat is now empty... and im sure there's quite a lot of milk in the fridge... oh crap
