I was watching one really slapstick reality show in the evening.
I Love New York 2If you've followed other equally crappy shows like Flavor of Love, you'll know who's this big mama.
The thing is... i kinda liked it! =P
As with lotsa Reality TV.
Survivor.. Amazing Race... Top Chef.. Hell's Kitchen.. Project Runway... America's Next Top Model... A shot @ Love 2 Wif Teila Tequila....
and many others...
Ok, mebbe they're not really in the same league.
TV has evolved.
So have i.
Of coz, classics are classics, they can never be replaced, especially not by Reality TV.
But they are 2 different stories altogether.
If you dun upkeep with the times, guess you'll be left behind like one sad soap opera.
I guess dat's my current state of mind.
@ 3:23, here i am @ the internet cafe in Auckland
logged on free wifi as i sip a cappucino in the chilly weather
waiting for him to be on msn.
Thing is, i was never like this.
I would be one to be snuggled in the room lazing away.
Not one in public places and mingle and small talk.
It's never in my nature.
And i realised, the process that i'd become so used to my lifestyle.
As familiarity becomes a habit, habit eventually becomes the norm.
When that happens, it starts resisting change.
And one starts to stagnate like a stale puddle.
To be surfing @ a public cafe @ this hour.
It's kinda cool, or kewl rather.
Think i could get used to this.
Just hope it does not become a habit. =)
