Wonderful idea Kaz! I’m not as good at explaining how I see love expressed in these scenes as you are, but here’s my two cents anyways.
DNA Mad Scientist: John and Aeryn. I’m just going to quote Jacob’s TWoP recap and leave it at that-
When you fall in love with the shapeshifter, you meet her at the crossroads, full moon at midnight, and you hold her. No matter what she becomes. Fire, snake, hateful killer, snarling horse, wild beast. Pilot. Murderous, schizophrenic mother's daughter. Treacherous, disappearing soldier's lover. Hands around your throat; hands around your heart. Even when it's killing you. Even when she's Harvey's lovely daughter, all in a coldsuit, hair gone long and straight and black as night, lover and enemy in one, you hold her. You hold her, because it's your love that draws her back; your love that's the star by which she steers herself home. And she'll do the same for you, because you're a shapeshifter too.
Nerve: D’Argo staying with a recovering Aeryn and gently holding her hand as she sleeps.

There are a hundred thousand little moments that show love, but the one that always stcks out to me is...
Liars, Guns, and Money (part 3) the scene where Jaffe comes off the ship and he and D'Argo are reunited. This father/son joyful coming together is so beautiful and then the look on Aeryn's face as she absorbs the joyful reunion and realization of the cost of this reunion comes to her. All her love for John is right there in that look.
