Baby Lambs!!
And I got to watch them being born!! Coolest thing -EVER- to do on a Thursday night. A friend of mine lives on a farm and she and her husband have sheep... it's spring, so they've been delivering lambs for the last week or so, and they invited us up to see the new babies last night. Adorable. And then we got the special treat of one of the mama's going into labor while we were there, so we went inside to get dinner ready and give her some time to herself. One girl went out to check on them about an hour later, and came out of the barn waving for the rest of us to come quickly! There was one little lamb already, and we saw her deliver two others, got to help clean them off and warm them up (since it was COLD last night) and watch them get up on their wobbly little legs for their first meals. Amazing. (I'll post pictures when she sends them to me.)
