Rivers...
Yes, I haven't posted. This is no big surprise, since I don't post very often. Get over it, and read about the highlight of my morning commute:
I generally take the train - somtimes I nap, sometimes I do school work, sometimes I read a book, sometimes I chat with other people headed the same direction - and the best part of the whole morning is going over the Skukill (which I don't actually know how to spell). It amazes me how different the water looks from day to day. Some days it is glassy and reflects the clouds, others it seems to roll and bring up the green river bottom. Today there was a beautiful transition from the ice that has coated for the last week, to an energetic flow. Amazingly, it looked like the ocean! It was choppy and there were beautiful flocks of white sea-birds swooping and landing.
It makes me happy. :o)
