(no subject)
i haven't been doing much lately. the weather has been extremely cold and rainy. i have to wear thermals underneath my pajamas at night and clothes in the daytime. i've been laying in bed a lot because it's so nice to nap in this weather, and also because i'm starting to get really lazy. i was doing so much in the beginning of it all (sailing class, painting class, photography, museum internship..) one month left to go and i've quit the sailing class after one session, haven't gone to painting class in a month and my piece is still unfinished, can't even get started on my photography project, and i dread going to the museum internship because i'm just so damn tired all the time.
it's my second weekend of staying in siena, which has its good and bad points. one month left means not many weekends left to travel where i need to. hopefully venice can happen this weekend (if it doesn't rain) and i've booked my flight for amsterdam for the first weekend of december. as much fun it is to sit around and hang out and cook and watch 'family guy' episodes on dvd and be lazy, it's time to make the next 4 weeks unforgettable.

it was a perfect night.
a couple weeks ago i went over to the boys' dorms to bring them baked goods. i asked steve about the pellet gun he had just bought and apparently for some odd reason i was mistaken for saying that i wanted to see what it was like to get shot by one. i'd never been so scared in my life and i wasn't even amused by it. everyone else seemed to be though.
i've been hurt worse. but i still almost peed in my pants.
went to the opera last week in florence. it was wonderful.
everyone got dolled up and i finally got my hair cut (a little shorter than how i actually wanted, but oh well, it'll grow).

last weekend in siena there was some wine festival being held in the streets with music and dancing and cheap wine.
everyone was going crazy for it.
and it was super packed.
and we were excited to hear y.m.c.a being played.
what a wino.
and a few days ago we had a class trip to the city of lucca and i saw the coolest thing.
a soccer ball made of chocolate. simply amazing.
