Now that NanoWrimo is over...
Nanowrimo is over.
What is fascinating to me is the story is just now starting to take root in my mind. I woke up this morning with an idea of how to make a scene even better. Just... cool.
Now there is time to do some of the other things in my life.
Last night I went wassailing. it was fun. We went to
botanicavix's and everyone was thrilled that she "got it". I had only been trying to get the Mother Behrta Guerilla Wassailer's Guild over there for the past few years, thinking she would enjoy it, and it was gratifying to hear everyone rave about how much they enjoyed her, her house, etc. The Home-made mead was delightful, and the cider has me thinking I need to go out and get some good cider and spices. Yum.
A friend from work had invited me to a party with the 3M Gay/Lesbian club that night which might have been fun too, but it was the first night of Wassailing, and I did not want to miss it. I hope she invites me again, though.
Today I need to get ready for the art show next saturday! Time is zooming on by. So: Printing, Matting, cleaning a bit to make room for printing and matting....
It is a glorious, sunny (if cold) day, so I am also thinking perhaps a walk. Bundle up a bit and enjoy the SUN!
