Nanowrimo is over.

What is fascinating to me is the story is just now starting to take root in my mind.  I woke up this morning with an idea of how to make a scene even better.  Just... cool.

Today was a really cool day!

Got together with Tanith and did writing sprints.  I am so glad to be writing again.

Drove home, started laundry and went our for a bike ride, the first of the year!!  Rode to lake Nokomis, part way around, then back.

I think I have this backwards.

Here is my writing incentive program for this weekend:

My goal is 1,000 words at a stretch.  After the first 1,000 words, I allowed myself to get up and make bread (honey-walnut whole-wheat) and apple crisp bars, and wash dishes.

For the next 1,000 words my reward is that I can go do laundry.

Nano

I have now passed the one day goal for Nano word count (Current word count:  1745).  So it took me a week.  That is better than last year.  Each day, I write a bit more than the previous day.  (401, 440, 567... still working on today's count.)

I have officially started my Nanowrimo story.  Encouragement is useful and welcome.  Now I just need to find the local Nano events, something to help keep me writing.
