Graduation night!
We had one last night! My nephew Patrick and his girlfriend Lourdes graduated from Kempsville High.
His dad, my brother Mike, and I drove together to meet up with the rest of the family & it turned into a genuine adventure - a sudden downpour with wind gusts up to 60 mph. Like we were driving in a minor hurricane. We dashed to the convention center & got soaked. But all that ended once the ceremony began.

Patrick & Lourdes were actually born on the same day in November. They've been best friends & dating for some years now. Both will be going to Tidewater Community College & both have jobs. They are so sweet together & her family is great.
Patrick, Lourdes & their fellow graduates & teachers went to an all night, lock down party at the school. Mike, Nicole & others brought home copious amounts of pizza and scarfed it down in celebration.
