Whenever I'm feeling down I always visit Laura, Charlene Butterbean and the kittens at The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee at http://www.theittybittykittycommittee.com/

I also visit when I'm feeling really good, too, or just to check up. It's an opportunity to see what's right in the world for a change.

The Itty Bitty Kitties are orphaned kittens fostered by Laura, her family and her wonderful not-fat-but-floofy 3 year old, Charlene. The kitties come in from the Tacoma/Pierce County Humane Society, all the way across the country from me. They care for the babies until they're old enough to be adopted, then are found loving homes.

Laura, an amazing photographer and wordsmith, chronicles the kittens adventures along with comments on resident cat and kitten caretaker, Charlene Butterbean. It is absolute joy to read about them and view the photos. You can spend hours there and, on bad days, I have.

Right now she's sharing the story of the six

With so much going on - especially the crisis in the Gulf - I thought this was worth sharing.

ION - still working with the vampires ... making progress!

The current batch is The Anderson-Ericksons. From Left to right:
Louise, Bernice, Ambrose, Ferris, Emory and Clement Anderson-Erickson.

As you can see, Ambrose is an explorer:
