Soooo...
I had a good Christmas. Yummy food all around. Saw the fam, who are as crazy as usual. Here is what I got:
From my mom/"santa":
-The Dark Knight and Kung Fu Panda DVDs
-a crapload of candy
-3 gift cards ($15 each to Wendy's and Coldstone creamery, $10 to Burger King... the Wendy's one is almost gone already lol.)
-a baby chimp toy that makes real chimp sounds and moves around. It's SO adorable! (pics on facebook here:

-windshield wipers
-a cell phone charger for the car (!)
-a Ped Egg (one of those "as seen on tv" scrubber things for your feet)
From myself:
-a 2gb memory card for the camera (only SEVEN DOLLARS on amazon!)
-a London city guide book from Lonely Planet
From my cousin and aunt:
-A giant Eiffel Tower statuette thing (it's heavy as shit, and kind of huge. It's about 18in tall)
-a nice smelling candle (called "Paris Nights")
-a shotglass from Las Vegas (my cousin went on a trip there in November. also, pretty convenient, because I got her one from when I went to San Fran in Nov too lol.)
Speaking of San Francisco, I just realized that I did not make a post about that on here before. It was really awesome! There are pictures on facebook (here:

It left me feeling like I'm NOT actually going to be living on the street for the rest of my life, considering the 8000 other anthropologists that were there who aren't. So hooray! Also explored the city and saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Haight Ashbury area, Lombard St, the Wharf (far too touristy for my tastes), and had some FABULOUS Indian food. All in all, a great experience for my first trip to California!
