I love winter, I really do. People think it's gloomy but it's so beautiful. The cold is so sharp, it always seems to highlight everything. I love scarves and gloves and winter jackets. And curling up by the fire with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate with so much whip cream that you have to get it on your nose when you drink

I stepped outside before going to bed, where a full moon is shining so brightly you can see across my yard, blue light reflecting off the snow. Eerie, unreal, and you will never see it in summer.
