"another freakin' hurricane, at this rate im going to have like a 2 year degree in just minimum standards."
it ended up that i did get to see the family and everyone else in mia. it was good to be back. blah blah blah. but i was glad to get back and start up again. and it has been nothing but purely, raw, hell. 12 hour days of ladder carries, raises, scba drills, search and rescue drills, forcible entry drills, ventilation drills, hose drags, hose carries, and portable extinguishers drills. saturday and sundays included. everyday is one big blur (just like mondays). 700am to 2130ish pm. the reason being that we need to catch up with the time the hurricane took from us. and i wouldnt want it any other way. i love it. i am truly happy. i have never been more challenged in my entire life. ive grown stronger in ways i never thought were possible. and im working along side a great group of guys. they all kick so much ass. we are like brothers. we motive each other, keep each other going and asking for more. we fall together, we throw up together, we stand together. and at night we get shitfaced together.
this "hell" is going so great that the instructors are planning to add a hell week into the course for now on. we inspired the idea supposedly.
because of the stupid hurricane, i have to wait until thursday or friday to do the car fire. i plan to take pictures if i remember to grab my camera.
its going to suck when its over. i dont want it to stop, im enjoying it to much for it to. i cant fuckin wait to this for a living.
but for the next few days, im stuck again in high springs.
