Friend Fail
I was out with NS friend and he was telling me he was determined to go on vacation at the end of this year because he had 18 days of leave to clear (his annual leave is 18 days!) and his previous plans to go overseas have been thwarted repeatedly.
S: All my travel plans were scuttled. I wanted to go Taiwan or Bali, or Australia and in the end this friend cannot go that friend cannot go.
K: Then where do you want to go this time?
S: I just told myself I have to get out of Singapore. I have to go somewhere 100 miles away from Singapore.
K: I don't understand 100 miles leh. Can use SI units or not?
S: Okok.... 100kilometers.
K: Can be more than 100kilometers or must be exactly 100kilometers.
S: *thinks for a while* Must be exactly 100kilometers.
K: *think think think* a 100 kilometers...... hmmm.... *bursts into uncontrollable laughter for a long time*
S: Huh what's so funny?
K: Do you know, Singapore is 24km by 48km? A 100km is like....... will only get you into Malaysia lor. Or Batam hahahaaaa.....
S:............................................................................................. can at least go KL, so is a break from Singapore.
Ok lah, I think he was quite embarrassed already so I didn't want to tell him I suspect 100km can only get him to Johor. :xX
