If there is one lesson I learned last year, the phase "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you," is fundamentally flawed in that it assumes everyone wants to be treated as you do. That's the zenith of egocentricity.

"Do unto others as they would want you to do unto them," would be the ideal Golden Rule.
