so kellys entry made me decide to look back on this past year, something in some ways i was trying to forget, but i need to remember because a lot of important stuff happened this year and yeah it wasnt a bad year so i dunno if im actually gunna post it but i guess i did if youre reading it...its more jsut for me to review

january: rang in the new year with amanda and our sparking apple cider, midterms which werent that bad and hey hum midterm study group= totally awesome lol (even though i got a stupid b on that...) and kelly came to youth group her first time and even signed up for HSR...the 8th graders who are now freshman got confirmed and some of them even started coming to youth group...one in particular didnt which made me rather sad but i have since learned that people will go their own ways and theres nothign that will change that

feburary: i spent valentines day with amanda and laura...yes we had some good times...there was also the valentines day dance which began the katie and shawn thing
andd hmmm thats all that happened...

march: my very first high school retreat which was amazing. it was cool because ti was different from confirmation retreats but at the same time it was special...i liked it...especially writing affirmations because firstly thats a great idea and secondly it formed the infamous [k]t...then cornerstone...omg amazing. i didnt know it then but that would be the first and last time this year i would be seeing o'dwyer (im deprived i know) i met tons of amazing people, had an awesome group where we even got the guys singing AND DANCINg to barbie girl (our song...not by choice but you know its great) i learned a lot of lessons that weekend, public speaking, communications, living my faith, and that there really is no safe alternative to red rover. the katie and shawn thing ended...it was short but it was fun while it lasted and i learned stuff from it..overall i was very happy we stayed friends

april: hawaii omg amazing....from the plane to the water it was amazing i loved everything about it... me michelle christina aashka and sometimes kathleen formed our own little group and even though i hadnt seen much of any of them that year, i found it really easy to be myself, which made the week that much better...from stacys mom to returning the hat it was awesome... and since it was so awesome thats all i remember from that month...actually no its not i think that was also the month me laura matt and kenny went to hershey park which was fun, there were liek no lines and em and laura did one of those old fashioned photos that your dress up for...it was quite fun... also that month i began the long treacherous journey to find myself through other people...that doesnt really make much sense but i figure someone will understand...

may: um....this month also drawing a blank right now... on jeff's bday we went to chuckie cheese and i jsut remember him sayign it was the best day of his life which was really cute other than that this wasnt the best month

june: school lets out wooooo but not after like 20 long days...things get better and worse and jsut strange, finals, wooo but i still got a stupid b on hum...i jsut remember leaving school that day with kacie and laura all laughing hysterically over who knwos what cuz we were so ahppy we made it through hum 1...school ended and so did the major conflict...outwardly at least...it was at peace for the summer...i went to sleepaway camp for the first time i went to rob ryerson soccer camp for 4 days...it wasnt bad but it wasnt liek the greatest thign ever and i was happy to come home..the soccer aspect was really fun but it made up my mind not to try out for chs soccer ...also this month was the senior crab feast which was very fun...and i made colorguard which was exciting for me :) i know all that wasnt in order but its alright

july: terris birthday which was very fun, i love spending time with my two crazies, then we PAINTED THE YOUTH ROOM.... [k]t will forever be remembered in our secret corner lol where we painted our letters into the wall...yeah i know that didnt make sense agian oh well...then i spent a week in PA with my aunt/uncle/cousins which was realllly fun it was relaxing and yeah awesome...we started working on painting my room too..or rather my parents did while i was away..bonus!!

august: SC with terri which was sooooooo much fun...we found we were excellent at cooking and jumping into the pool with our clothes on...which ultimately led to our downfall when i psuhed her in with her phone in her pocket...ooops!! and then i was tutoring for a few weeks and colorguard practice started which was really fun i highly enjoyed it...then dannys surprise party where we discovered apples to apples is a great party game...then we started school again as sophmores

september: i looked forward to october, i was involved with the confirmation wed. night things which i didnt take advantage of last year...they were awesome shall i jsut say...we had cg performances which were all fun in theyre own special way...atlantic city which rocked... and then on september 29th my grandma passed away after an extended illness...she put up a good fight and made it all the way out to a nursing home after being in the hospital since feburary... she was in the nursing home for a week before she returned to the hospital in a severe condition and she declined rapidly and died about a week or two later. i went to the confirmation class that night which helped me a lot

october: i began this month with missing a day of school and going to the funeral. what made this weekend doubly hard for me to accept was the fact that it was 3rd retreat: my retreat. i got to see my whole family, and the saddest part was watching my little cousins talk to her...she didnt look like her and it was hard to see her... then i read at her funeral...that was when i sat up in the cathedral where the readers sit...my mom read first and then me, i picked out the passage and it was a good one but it was so hard to read that day...then we went to where she was buried and there was a little ceremony and then a few of us watched them lower her into the ground. my mom didnt want me to i dont think but it think it was more that she didnt want to see that but for me it was liek the turning point of my weekend...because as i watched them lower her pink casket into the ground i realized what they were doing...they were buring her body...jsut her body...i realized that she was already smiling down at me from ehaven and that i didnt need to be sad ebcasue she is still with me now...it was really helpful and so while i regretted missing retreat, i wouldnt change the fact that i missed it because the funeral was really important. ok so since i spent so much time on that first weekend this is gunna be a long month....that week valerie called to tell me we were having retreat at church becasue o'dwyers water broke...i cried..yes i did becasue i love that place and this was the second time in like a week that i found out i wasnt going up there. however retreat is about what happens, not about where it happens and that weekend definately showed me that... my small group was absolutely amazing and i love all of them... then there was homecomign which was fun even though the music was bad lol getting all dressed ip is soo fun and then atholtons homeocming which was also lots of fun...ravens stadium which was my favorite colorguard event it rocked...it was jsut sooooo fun

november: last cg performance, the only time i dropped my flag but it wasnt a bad drop which made me happy... our football team won which was amazing...then on "[k]" day they all threw me a surprise birthday party which included bowling and then dinner at a chinse place in wherever they told me i was since they blindfolded me and stuck me in a car...and then terris hosue ...it was seriously awesome thank you all soooo much, then my actual birthday which made me feel like a cheater since i really got two birthdays but i went out to dinner with valerie sicne it was her birthday too and we brought along those other two :P it was very fun...then BYCC which = amazing in every way shape and form...met soem cool people...became friends with mike who is an awesome kid...heard some amazing stories and was overall amazed....then thanksgiving which was sorta weird until we played our dodgeball type game which was very fun and my grandparents were here which was nice

december: went christmas shopping and enjoyed the christmas season, wne to see the bso with my family and then the tso with rach kasey and matt which was totally awesome. me and laura made tons and tons of hot chocolate which was fun even though after so much powdered milk you jsut have to stop...andd yeah secret santa...always fun...christmas is altoona which was awesome i love that place...and then winter break which of course...dont deny...you cant help but love it...i learned how to poach pears, make mediteranean pasta, i got to see catherine which was totally fun, and i saw meet the fockers with laura. new years eve was fun and i spent the very last hous of this year in a way that a) a year ago i never ever wouldve guessed and b) actually ten minutes before then i wouldnt have guessed but the new year came and all was happy..we broke a wooden spoon, fixed it with gum, watched under the tuscan sun and drank 2 bottles of sparkling apple cider...all was good

and thats this past year and a little more...it was good...and ive decided to psot this so im sorry for all of you who read that whole thing
