Eek. I just paid $70+ for a water bottle

But I saw it online and really loved it. I'm currently using a dinky little 350ml disposable bottle that I got on a plane flight in Thailand. But it's not really large enough for the gym (I have to refill it 2-4x) and it's kind of warped at the bottom - I think I might have sat on it or something.

So after some encouragement from James ("I want you to buy things that you love" - yay!) I went and bought my coveted water bottle. It's the Kor One Hydration Vessel (admittedly an extraordinarily wanky name) and I bought it from Rei online. The prices are the same but Rei online has slightly cheaper - though still expensive at $21 USD - shipping to Australia.

Apparently a big selling point for the bottle is that people discard millions of disposable water bottles a year. Most people I know just rinse out their old bottles and reuse them - that's what I've done ever since high school. Still, it's time to upgrade from my crushed Thailand plane bottle and this one is the nicest I've seen. It's 750ml so one bottle will last me a whole gym session, and the mouth hole is wide enough to fit ice cubes in case I forget to chill my water.

That reminds me that my gym tops are starting to get holes in them so I should probably head to Cotton On and buy some replacements.

I can't wait for my new water bottle hydration vessel to arrive!
