I probably shouldn't be surprised they upheld Prop 8, but I am, once again, disappointed in my state.

The results on 8 aren't completely in, but it would have to be something pretty amazing to overturn it at this point. *sigh* It really upsets me, because it's not a matter of democrat versus republican or general political values, which I can understand differing opinions on. I don't usually get political around here, but the "Vote Yes on Prop 8" people were out in force, on every single street corner, and it makes me livid. And even worse, people were waiving to them! It took a LOT of effort not to flip every one of them off ( Read more... )

It rained today! Just a little, but I can't even tell you the last time it rained, that's how long ago it was. I was going to run errands, but since it felt like an inside kind of day (ha!), I stayed home and cleaned the house.
