Hello! I am updating from my brand new laptop! :D
The only bad thing about getting it on the weekend is that I can't immediately rush out to the campus computer store and buy software for it (because IU has deals with various software manufacturers students can get stuff like Microsoft Office and other things for ridiculously cheap). I had the option to get MS Office 2007 with this computer, but it added like $100 on to the price and that's ridiculous when I can get the exact same thing for $20 from IUware. But I'll have to wait until Monday to get it.
Also playing with Windows Vista for the first time. It's very pretty looking. One irritating thing I've discovered is that it constantly asks for your permission to do stuff, and I keep having to tell it not to. I try to install stuff and it's like "OMG! This might be MALICIOUS SOFTWARE! Are you REALLY, REALLY sure you want to do this?" It's the world's most paranoid operating system.
Okay, have stuff other than play with the computer to do now.
