I want to bring a topic up for discussion. The other day Derek and I were discussing consummating marriages. I don't remember how this came up, but whatever. So anyway, he said you're not truly consummating the marriage unless you have sex sans a condom. I think that's bogus. Why can't you consummate the marriage while being safe? i think sex in general is consumating, i don't think it is dependent on a condom or not. anyway, catholics denounce birth control of all sorts, so that is why he is saying the no condom thing. he should also be anti-birth control pill then, too, in theory.

yeah, I think sex in general works, too. but the whole "I'm Catholic and therefore won't use condoms or birth control" theory fails with Derek because that's never stopped us before.

it's not worth arguing over. boys are stupid. the relationship was consumated when your virginity went bye-bye. that's how i feel anyway, the condom plays no part in consumation.
