Why? Cause its so true. I keep in contact with about 95% of my friends over LJ. Sad. I really need to make an effort to meet more people locally, but Im lazy and socially inept. That and Im antsy ... being home alone makes me a bit nutty, and if thats setting in already, how am I gonna be by Valentine's Day? Whoo ...

Im kind of ashamed of myself. I spent a lot of time last night reserving a lot of Food Network DVDs from the library, and I got my to pick up list in my email tonight. >_> Thing is, the episodes are only about 20 minute each, and Im not sure what will really interest me, but I figured Id rent them and see.

I must be bored tonight. How many entries have I made? But, theres not a lot to do. Tomorrow, I have the Superbowl to keep my occupied, and then its onto the housework. Theres a lot of it to do.

My back is killing me. I bent funny when I shoveled, I think, and its very painful. And considering it snowed again a bit today, Im afraid I might have more to do ... but then again, I think it snowed only briefly, so hopefully it will just melt tomorrow, and that will solve the problem.

Ive discovered I cant multitask anymore ... or at least, I find it difficult. Like I cant websurf/do LJ and watch TV -- at least instructional TV -- at the same time. I inevitably look up from the laptop and realize Ive missed a recipe or something. I used to be able to do that, and now I cant. Is that a sign of getting old? Then again, its probably more the nature of the programming. If Im trying to learn how to cook something, watching and listening is probably necessary. I can, most of the time, multitask with something like Sportscenter, for example, cause its not so visual.

I decided Im definitely making some pasta sauce tomorrow ... assuming the meat is thawed. I need to go get some pasta as I dont think I have any, but I have to go get some stuff from the store, like an envelope for Kelly's headphones. I havent felt up to going to the post office lately, and the one time I did, they were closed. =/ So, yeah ... meat sauce is definitely in order. I need to make some stuff to have in so I can eat when it suits me. I kind of pick when Im home alone. But I got some cookbooks from the library as well -- again, Food Network chefs like Giada and Ina -- so I might try some recipes from there. Thing is, I really need things that reheat well, and not everything does.

Gah, Im scattered. Time to go to bed or something.
