My Frist Trifle

While in England we stopped to visit my mom's childhood friend Sue who made us a feast of a lunch. Included was a most delicious trifle. When we did our sweet shopping at the grocery store in the UK we bought some Bird's Custard and Trifle sponge. So I decided to make trifle to take to my mother-in-law's today. Unfortunately when I opened the sponge one packet was moldy and the other was stale, I checked the best buy date and it was about 2 weeks past due. So I had to use pound cake which I happened to have in the freezer. Then while I was cubing the pound cake I dropped a 1/3 of it on the floor! Anyhow, to make a long story short (too late), I made a most yummy trifle. It's pound cake, raspberries, custard, whipped cream, and Cadbury Flake.



Yum! Yum! Yum!
