Long week is long
I still have one more day to get through, but this week has already been so long. This weekend I think I need to get some work done on my car too-but honestly I think I would be happy to stay home and not go anywhere. Well, except I would still go out to get my latte fix, but other than that-no where! Well that is what I would want. anyway.
Usually I feel the need to go out at some point during the weekend. I think it is from all my years working in retail. If I had a weekend off while I worked at KB, I had to make the most of it. Even though it has been years, I still feel that twinge, that I gotta do something when I have a day off. Steve usually lets me sleep in on Saturday, so maybe once I get a good night's sleep I won't feel so tired.
One thing that I got waiting for me this weekend is The Hunger Games. Yes I finally finished my John Green book and can move on to a book I am excited to read. I liked Paper Towns ok, but it didn't really affect me the way I think it was intended. Maybe if I was still a teenager it might have appealed to me more. Oh well. This isn't the first book I read that I had heard good things about, but didn't really like. I started reading The Hunger Games and the first couple chapters were pretty good. I have a feeling I will like it. One think I do like to read about is strong women. That is the biggest reason I had to chuck the Twilight series.
ABDC started tonight. I think that having Tight Eyes from the movie Rize one of the freaking guys who started the krumping style of dance, is pretty unfair. However, the show has had professional dancers before. Also, why do they have a crew from New Zealand competing? The show is called "America's" Best dance crew. Although, I absolutely adore the New Zealand accent, so they are ok-but I don't think they should win. I am excited to see the next show though.
