Snow is April, wtf?
You read that right, it flippin snowed here today, and it is cold as fuck outside right now. The weather has been pretty crappy in general this year. I think I heard on the radio that it rained 35 of the last 39 days, or something. I know, I know, it is Seattle so why the hell am I complaining? I don't mean to complain-I am just stating the facts.
Actually I don't mind the cold weather all that much. However, with the snow, we had to monkey around with our sun setter shades in the backyard, which sucked. We put them up a couple of weeks ago after having them retracted all winter, thinking that we were in the clear as far as snow goes. They are kind of a pain to put up because they are heavy and even heavier with snow weighing them down. So now we kind of have them sitting at askew so that snow can't accumulate on it, but we haven't retracted them fully yet either. They basically look like they fell down. The snow didn't last long, so once it stops raining, we are going to put them up again. I don't think it will snow again...
