Okay, so even though I have to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning, I feel the past day or so requires an update.
Sexxxy Halloween: *dignified ahem* OMGsqueeeeeeeee!!!!!11one So the party itself was kinda neat. Not sure it's really my thing and I didn't know all that many people. Good to see a few that I did know, though. Band setting-up and sound-checking and such was all kinds of running late, but no big. The playing itself was the aforementioned OMGsqueee. Unlike the last JF performance, at which I stood on the stage sang Angel (which went alright) and Bookmark (which tanked like a G-rated porn), I actually enjoyed myself on stage. Was only marginally nervous for the first verse of Bookmark, and after that the show just rocked! Even This House, which I'm honestly not that fond of, was fun. I even got feeling into it. It was such a neat sensation! No one cares about This House, it doesn't really speak to personal situations the same way some of our other songs do. But I got up there and sang it thinking "No! Screw this! I'll *make* them care!" and it was *awesome*! For the first time I really truly enjoyed singing in front of people ^_^
Creepy Horror Puppet Show was all kinds of hilarious. Just really well done ^_^ Ended up removing my top in front of 50-some-odd people, which was...interesting. Admittedly, I was wearing my goth-y net top anyway, so it's not like they saw anything they weren't seeing to begin with, but yeesh! Oh well, got a beer and got the boob-showing ball rolling. Note to self, whilst wearing goth top, sit ye not in the front row of a show in which breasts are spike-taped on the floor. Never a good sign. Also funny at said show, ran into
