So far Resident Evil 6 (at least the part with Leon) doesn't look too bad. I found some actual gameplay footage and I must say at least the atmosphere is pretty decent. Though its kind of sad, I just don't think Resident Evil will ever scare me as much as it used to. I remember when aachannoichi's brother bought home Resident Evil 1 & 2 way back in the day and Acchan and I basically screamed every minute it was so intense. But I guess like horror movies, once the survivor horror genre took off (especially Resident Evil) it became more and more cliched and less scary. Well, I don't think this game will top the first 3 Res games, but so for it looks like an improvement on Res 5 which was just ok and a little too action oriented. Well at least Leon's part, I know the Chris part of the game will basically become the same crappy action formula that has creeped into games recently, Gears of War + Uncharted - Dead Space divided by Call of Duty = Resident Evil 6.
