Tour Update
The Tour is absolutely thrilling, and we're still in the flat stages...imagine what'll happen when we get to the mountains!!! And I soo wish I could watch the team time trial (TTT) tomorrow. It will be amazing.
Iban Mayo crashed today, and though he's not injured, he lost 4 minutes, and with that probably lost any chance of gaining a podium spot. So much for my predictions. I still maintain that w/o the crash, he would have been top 3.
Lance is in 5th currently, and the American papers report that like it's a crisis. Would it kill them to learn something about cycling? The riders ahead of Lance in the standings are not contenders, they are sprinters who will drop back as soon as they enter the mountains. Lance still has 15 seconds over Jan and Tyler, and that's the key.
