Understandably you're shaken up. I too am glad you're ok, most importantly. That's great you were able to get your stuff back and so many people were there to help you.

yeah. fo' sho' - one shitbag, but my faith in humanity remains steadfast thanks to the help of a half dozen complete strangers who saw a woman in berserker mode chasing a robber and took time out of their day to help however they could. there's more to the story but thank god the alcohol is starting to kick in so i'm becoming less coherent as the hours pass.

My sister is a teacher at Riverside and all they heard was "man with a gun" and there was a lockdown. Crazy to hear the root of the story.

I am jerk for leaving out that I'm glad you're ok.

I am very glad you're OK. Last time I got mugged over that way my friend got bruises shaped like Nike logos from all the kicks to the face.

I get mugged regularly. It's because I'm so pretty.

I got my bike nipped back in february because I sacrificed it to save my wallet. (throw bike / run while PERPS are distracted)

when his grandma dies of a heart attack after some fucker steals the handbag containing her medication maybe he'll understand. not that i know shit about him of if he had grandparents left, but you see my point.

i just realized that in my purse were (and still are) two shell casings (.40 & .45) and one .45 round of ammo in the bottom of my purse. souvenirs from my trip to a shooting range on saturday. i wonder if he thought *i* had a gun...

hah, I took Tyler shooting last Saturday. Rented the .357, which was a blast. Not nearly as accurate as my .45, but you could FEEL it. Of course, the problem is that scaring the mother-shit out of the criminals with guns requires taking the chance of actually using it... resulting in Death & Law & Prison. Unfortunately. People should be bullet-proof, then we could go around shooting the hell out of each other.

i *heart* the colt .45 M1991-1A - my friend spent about 40 gunsmithing the thing, and it's just beautiful. and it was like a pretty pretty fireball every time i fired a round. i might have to get one myself.
