Being Human, American Style

Dearest Friends, I had so much fun putting together that last recap that I'm back for more. But before I get into that, could someone tell me why you aren't all watching The Good Wife? Seriously, this show is quality. And I seem to be the only person on the internet who ships Alicia Florrick with Eli Gold. Meghan, you'll really like Eli. ( Read more... )

I think you should come up with some kind of code thing so that people know when you are using actual quotes. Like put an asterisk before them or something. Gives a totally different impression of the show.

Well - not totally different. But somewhat.

I could do that. Watch for new formatting in my new summary. Only question, should I use italics for real lines or colored font? You decide.

Italics. It will add extra emphasis to the awesomeness/ridiculousness of the actual line.

My biggest problem with this show at hte moment is actually how they have changed the powers. Being Human Vampires eat, as you said, and they have no reflection. They may be extra strong, but I don't *think* they can run as fast as Aidan did. I could be wrong. Being Human Ghosts can touch things. Not sure what Annie was like in the original pilot, but I really hope Sally develops some touching-things skills. Otherwise I feel like her role will get boring pretty fast. Josh - seems okay so far in terms of powers. Apparently there's only so much to screw up with werewolves.

Annie started out not being able to touch things in the pilot I think, but then she could. I'll do a summary of the original UK pilot at the start of the next post ( ... )

Annie couldn't touch thing originally; that's why making tea makes her so happy. Making tea reminds her that she can now move physical items.

If the Good Wife was on Netflix instant, I'd be on it in a hot second. But since there's so much of it to catch up on, I have a feeling it'll have to wait for a summertime marathon. Sorry!

Mitchell/Aiden without the whole addiction parallel seems really not right. But I am greatly enjoying your snark. :)
