another week has passed
well, i'm almost settled into another year in the frigid north. all that is left is to get my car winterized, a parking permit, a new driver's license, booking my motel in st. louis, writing my proposal (again) and registering to vote. i'm so worn out (the list was much, much longer yesterday) that i need a vacation just to recover. the cold is starting to kick in too. at least for me, no one else thinks it's cold yet. my neck finally stopped hurting and my housemates are nice. right now, i just have to figure out where to get $350 to winterize my car. apparently the first snow appears at the end of september. oh yeah, i lost my camera case that had my charger and usb cord stowed inside. hopefully it is either in palmer or oklahoma. i was wanting a smaller camera anyways. my other one is too bulky to play tourist with. i don't want to read any of my books. except my fun books. good gravy i'm tired. there is a welcome back barbeque tonight, and i'm soooo unmotivated to go. northern people don't understand the intricacies of good barbeque. or spices. or flavor. my life for a transporter home.
