Clan night last night with Pizza and Cupcakes for pudding! Cupcakes are so good - especially with chocolate icing on a plain sponge. Now I wonder if I can get up to Glasgow at some point this week...
This would effectively scunner my earnest resolution to eat less sugar but perhaps if it's just once a week then it's ok? But yes last night was, as usual, very good.
Today I am still fairly achy, probably due to my manic bike riding on Saturday to the hairdresser and back. Wasn't impressed, by the way, by what was done to my hair at said appointment. Next time, I am getting them to style my hair with straightening irons, whether or not they style it straight is academic. But then I'm fairly suspicious of hairdressers in general.
Also on Saturday, I obtained a new pair of sandals and the longed for denim skirt. I don't expect to be seen wearing anything else all week, just so you all know.
Finally, work in the asbestos analysis business continues apace. And I continue to wonder if I'm the only one who pays the ideal level of attention to reporting. I suspect it may be so.
