If only all the EPs were available for Mac. And the SPs. And if only my Holidays disc wasn't f'ed up. Oh, woe! Still, I admire your house and patience. My computer doesn't like huge houses, though I've built one or two. You find better CC than I do. Though I still worship at the alter of Holy Simoly.

^^

You know, I really should remodel the (current) Literati house. They have all this empty yard that could be filled with more rooms.

Oh wow! [tries to recall if she actually asked for it or just thought it]

I'm so very much downloading this. I love this house! Thank you so much for packaging it & sharing! Damn having to wait til I get IKEA to install it, but it shouldn't be too long (I'm dying to get my grubby little hands on some of those wall hangings). Your decorating skills are really good =D

The reasons it matters for pre-played lots is it changes the prices of items inside (they depreciate in value) & things like sinks, dishwashers etc break faster. If they have sims in it when packaged then the broken memories/relationships from your game break other games... though I think you knew that bit already.

Oh, & you have an image in there twice. Child's bedroom 2 (the pink one) has two images of the same view instead of one of each direction like the others have.

I'm sure MJo5oh would say it if she beat me here to see this, but you are welcome to post this on if you would like to - lots are still pixels & that comm is all about the sharing =)

Damn I'm a fool today. "unknown LJ tag" [sigh]. That's meant to be pixel_trade

Thanks for the heads up about the picture. I really need to post when it's not ridiculous o'clock at night, so I can proofread, lol. It's fixed now. :D

Um, now I don't actually recall if it was you who asked or not. If I replied to your comment on the legacy with the link, then it was you. :P

I'm kind of iffy on the whole brand-name stuff packs (especially because apparently H&M makes some UGLY ass clothing, lol), but there was not much in the IKEA pack that I didn't just adore. It's gorgeous. I highly recommend it! If you're looking for a "legal backup" of the game, I can point you in the right direction, lol.

Oooh, I hadn't thought of that! I'll PM her and ask, just in case. ^_^

[is mod] you can blame me for permission =D

Admittedly, I have the pack sitting here. I just don't want to install it without the new simpe so that I can keep extracting sims (which that sp broke). The temptation is strong but so far I'm doing ok.

Also, just opened up the lot to install on my pc; you've had 3 hacks slip through the net. 'Fishman Weapons Systems "Authorised Personnel Only Security System", "Garden - Plot", & Phone - line controller" & a few others I know by name that haven't shown in red (like the batbox, floor blanket, coat hook shop etc). & wow thats a lot of content!
What are those hacks for? (just incase I want them installing)

:O It's gorgeous. I'm tempted to get all the SPs as well as the EPs in order to use it. *.*

Thank you!

I recommend getting them all for their own sake anyway. Mind you, I'm kind of a completionist, so there was no way I wasn't going to get everything, lol. If you're ARRR inclined, I can send you a couple of links.

Wow, it is beautiful! But 50mbs? O_O I don't think I have ever played any lot that big! Does it run okay? I have a pretty good computer but I'm still a bit afraid. ;)

Ooo... I don't know... Mine doesn't sound like that. It says in the system properties, Alienware, Intel(R) Core (TM) 2CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz 1.66GHz. 3.00 GB of RAM (I don't know what all of that means, lol)

As far as the graphics, it has an NVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX. Whatever that is. O_O

Can you tell I pretty much smile and nod when it comes to computer buying? I have no clue what most of this crap is. Ugh. So I never know the capabilities of what I have. Sigh.

2CPU means you have whats known as a 'dual core' processor. The speed of each processor is 1.66ghz, but the overall speed would be 2.5 (I think, I'm guessing on the exact overall figure).

3gb of ram is great, that's the memory that the computer uses as it runs programs.

Geforce 7950 is the model name, GTX means its the best of the three versions that NVidia release (GT, GTS, GTX). I don't use NVidia personally, but I think thats a good card if my memory serves. I think it has an extra 1gb of ram just for its own use.

If you use the Clean Installer program to put the lot in your game you can take out what you dont want (which I'd recommend considering a couple of Katu's hacks got into it). But it should run fine on your pc. Its just all the CC that you're downloading with the lot file that makes it so big =)

I am so very tempted to download this. But my computer would blow up in my face, and green goop would get all over my room. (Yes, my computer is filled with green goop.)

I want green goop in my computer! D:

Er, not really. But still! And I'm sure your computer could handle it better than that, lol.

I decided to download it, and took a tour of the house myself. It was pretty laggy just going through it in buy-build mode, so I probably won't be able to put my Sims in it, but it is gorgeous x3 I just like looking at it.

But I think it's more the lot size than the things inside the lot. I had to put the Wobniars in a smaller lot (Smaller than 3x3) because it started lagging once I put my new Servo in there, and the graphics were getting kinda poopy. Now I have a nice two story house for them that is kinda small, but now I can keep a closer eye on them xD
(And if there's a death, I can find it right away o_o I hate missing a Sim death.)

Aww, I'm sorry to lag you. D: I know the feeling about the big lots problem. My main issue is that I don't like multiple story houses really, so I make big sprawling houses instead of nice compact ones, lol.

Me too. D:
