The Dork House, available for download!
I've always said that when I have an idea, it only takes one person to say yes in order for me to do it.
Well, I packaged up the Dorks' house in case anyone wanted to download it (and also in case I ever had to reinstall), and one person asked for it! So, here it is!
A few things you should know:
-This house may not be 100% as pictured in the legacy, due to the fact that I decorate over time quite a bit.
-This house has never had sims living in it. I don't know why that's such a big deal, but it's never been in play mode. However, it HAS obviously been playtested.
-I've used Numenor's No-Cut-Away walls for parts of the house (means I don't have to worry about putting my walls up as much. :P). They'll only show up properly if you have the Scriptorium and No-Cut-Away Walls installed. If not, they'll either be regular walls, or it's possible that they'll just disappear and you'll have to rebuild them.
-This house has a LOT of CC. Buy mode, build mode, the whole works. It's all fantastic, IMO, but as someone who never downloads lots with CC in them personally, it's worth warning you.
-I do have EVERY EP and SP. I know, I suck, I'm sorry, and I have no idea what I've used from which EP/SP and what will happen to your game if you don't have something that you need. So, use at your own risk.
That having been said, you're welcome to do whatever you want with it. Gut it and fill it with fish and firecrackers if you like, it doesn't bother me. I mean, it'd be nice if you didn't say you made it, or charge money for it, but I'm not gonna catch you. And I probably won't care half as much as the people whose CC you're redistributing.
Edited to add: Please do install this with Clean Installer! The lot apparently got packaged with three hacks, two from MATY and one from MTS2. There's an authorized personnel only one; it's a burglar alarm clone placed inside the door that I use to keep customers from coming inside and eating all the grilled cheese.
The phone hack is also a MATY hack, it allows more than one sim to use the phone at a time, as per the Macrotastics "autoyak" function. That's actually not even in my game anymore because it was preventing some sims from using the phones, I recommend not installing it.
The MTS2 one is a garden plot hack that makes gardens placeable on other floors except terrain, and will also give a better boost to produce when fertilized.
Note: all these pictures were taken AFTER I moved the family in (as will become obvious). They have also not been edited in the slightest except for to resize them.
