I do that too. I sort all my CC by creators/websites, then into male/female if necessary, and sometimes I'll have more subfolders. Something that I find really helpful is saving the preview pictures inside the CC folders, because sometimes reading "Raon Male Hair #30" just isn't enough :P

Just my two cents, in case you don't do that already ^^

Yeah, I've been thinking about that...but I figure at worst, I can just check the website, or the tooltip of the item. I haven't decided yet whether or not to do that. I all ready have done it with all of my alternate skin/eye defaults, in case I want to change. :D

Thanks!

Oh man, deleting all the cc I had was the best thing I ever did. Of course, when I got NEW stuff, I didn't organize it at all...

Good luck!

I think I'm gonna actually end up with more stuff than I started with, lol. >.> But at least it will be organised, so that when I get sick of a particular item, all I have to do is find the folder and delete that! :D I'm pretty sure that right now I have 54328954356784 different files that are recolours of meshes I don't have anymore and stuff.

Your downloads folder must be ten times the size of mine XD At least you'll get everything cleaned up all nice!

It's actually not too bad, compared to some...it was like 2.5GB or something. lol.

I wish I had the courage to do that. Lately, I've been using BS to delete everything that takes me more than 5 seconds to decide if I like it. Mostly because clothing and genetics make up more than half of my downloads folder, which currently weighs in at 5 gigs. My game can't take it. :(

Right now, uncompressed, my downloads folder is like 1.13GB. But that's because I haven't gotten to the furniture part yet. >.>

Yeah, I had been deleting stuff with BS ("If I don't DEFINITELY want it, then I definitely DON'T want it!"), but it doesn't delete the mesh file if you delete all recolours of a hair, and also just takes forever.

It took me ages to build up the courage to do this, too. But it's nice.

:3 I do this every so often. I've done it A LOT in the past week because I can't play Sims and I keep changing my mind. I have no idea what's in my downloads folder at this moment xD

I'm just worried for when I finally load my lots back up. >.< There's going to be cloned-from objects and blue flashies everywhere! D:

Good luck!

I just did a mini-purge and so far nothing I desperately need has turned up missing. Your way sounds infinitely smarter.

It's smarter...but it also kind of ties me down a little, if that makes any sense. Like, part of me goes, "Well, why not just keep the whole folder, rather than re-download everything?"

Which kind of defeats the purpose. I want to make sure I ONLY have what I want, no spare stuff. lol.

That makes total sense. Plus, I know I'd end up downloading a ton of stuff while I was looking for the stuff I already had.

Logging in is generally helpful. :P
