I just did a mini-purge and so far nothing I desperately need has turned up missing. Your way sounds infinitely smarter.

It's smarter...but it also kind of ties me down a little, if that makes any sense. Like, part of me goes, "Well, why not just keep the whole folder, rather than re-download everything?"

Which kind of defeats the purpose. I want to make sure I ONLY have what I want, no spare stuff. lol.
