It's All In Your State Of Mind! : Day 8

Jan 19, 2009 22:25

I BEAT MY RECORD! I am so happy! When I was close to it I pushed myself so hard I was screaming in the gym. Luckily I was by myself when that started happening. This is a GREAT feeling indeed! It took a couple of days and a bit of sidetracking because I was sick but I got there. That’s the thing about running there’s so much to look forward to. Always a new boundary to push, another goal to reach, feeling yourself seconds from giving up and going a few seconds longer to reach your destination. It’s a great feeling indeed to run, just working out in general. I think I’m starting to see little changes in my face. It looks a tad bit slimmer. It may be just in my head but that’s okay. The big changes will happen soon, I feel it. I don’t know if I mentioned this but I bought wipes for the gym equipment! I will NOT be getting sick like that again from that gym. I wiped everything down before I started using it, and I mean everything! I didn’t sneeze once when I was in there, so that’s a good sign, very good sign. Plus that also says that I definitely got sick from the gym equipment. :(

STATS!!!!!

Treadmill
2.35 miles in 34.17 minutes!!!! I reached the 2.00 mile marker in 29.17 minutes!!!! 13 SECONDS FASTER THEN MY OLD RECORD!!!!! OH YEAH!!! I BEAT IT! I was on 1.0 incline the while time. Now I was mostly on 2.0 when I hit my last record but I was on a different treadmill and the incline wasn’t challenging as the one I’m usually on but all that matters is that I beat the record.

Cycling
2.80 miles in 9.33 minutes. I was on different bikes and one you have to work for your miles a bit more than the other one.

Hamstring Curl
30 reps at 20 pounds
Leg Extension
20 reps at 20 pounds. I was a little tired so I stopped at 20.

Abs
100 reps today! Overall a GREAT workout. I can’t say that enough. I hope every workout has an increase in mileage.

I was going to mention my crazy day at work but I’m going to leave this entry on a good note. Good times. I can see it now. A lean mean fighting machine.

speed runner, happiness
