I just finished Wings of Wrath, the second book in the Magister Trilogy by CS Friedman. I'm not sure what to think

Feast of Souls. Are you a Friedman fan?

Somewhat. I liked This Alien Shore a lot; In Conquest Born and The Wilding struck me as so-so, and the Black Sun Rising trilogy was pretty good. At any rate, she intrigues me enough to keep seeking out her books.

I loved This Alien Shore. Madness Season was... interesting. I know that I've read the others, but since I can't remember them, I guess it's time to reread.
