Further down the road, you will accompany me
This morning I woke up to a terrible need to pee. Serves me right for drinking buckets of coffee and water yesterday.
I got up and went to the bathroom, then I went back to bed. I had to force myself to get up, so I wouldn’t sleep all the way to the evening.
I took my morning medicine, dressed up, and dabbed some basic lotion on my crusty face.
I drank a cup after cup of coffee, until I ran out of sugar. And that’s okay, considering that I won’t be able to over- caffeinate myself for a while.
My friend Mirette was going to hold a smallish get- together for her friends, where we bring our old useless stuff like clothes, jewellery, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs, we take what we like and keep it, and the rest will be taken to a charity shop.
I was going to go there earlier, so I could help her with her cleaning and shopping.
I had to haul two carrier bags and one suitcase full of clothes and stuff to the bus station. I had decided to take a bus, because I didn’t feel like hauling the stuff all the way to the train station.
Unfortunately one of the carrier bags got a tear, and all the stuff spilled on the zebra cross. Fortunately one kind soul came to help me, and I made it to the bus.
Once in Helsinki, I took the subway to Mirette’s home. I washed her dishes and re- arranged her stuff, then we took numerous bags full of empty bottles and cans to recycling. Then we bought a bag of crisps and some juice to serve at the get- together.
Later our friends arrived; Suavecita, Eleclya, and Odessa. They brought plenty of treats and their old clothes and stuff. We ate Eleclya’s home- baked carrot cake, three kinds of crisps, candy, and chocolate.
We had a good time, we took friendship selfies and went outside to take out the trash and take more photos.
Later the day Odessa left, and me and the others decided to leave as well and go to Eleclya’s home.
We took a subway to the city center, then a train to Stone City. Suavecita drove us to Eleclya’s home on her car.
Once there, I took my evening medicine. We drank coffee, ate cheese sandwiches, petted Hipsu, and the others played a card game.
Later Suavecita went home on her car, Eleclya went to take Hipsu for a walk, and me and Mirette took a bus to my home. She came for a sleepover.
