Today was my 27th birthday. Me and mi carnala Suvicita have been joking that we are going to join the "27 years club", meaning the musicians who died at that age; Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse... here's to hoping that me and Suvicita will live long and prosper.
Last night I slept on the sofa- bed, where my overnight visitors usually sleep, but my mattress, blanket, and pillow were on the balcony to get refreshed, I do the same every second weekend; my mother taught me that bed sheets should be replaced every second week, while I have replaced them every week. Now I have also taken up the habit of putting the mattress and other stuff to the balcony to have them aired.
I read a book where the main character described the snack she was eating; a mince pie filled with fried eggs and meatballs. It made me have the munchies, but not exactly hungry; it's been almost seven months since my stomach actually felt empty.
I slept very well, I also had bizarre dreams.
My ASPA worker called me at quarter to eleven o'clock in the morning and asked me if she can come over in ten minutes. I said no, let's keep the original time.
I got up, took my morning medicine, had a wash, and put on the first outfit I found from the closet; Hello Kitty pyjama pants and a Cupcake Cult shirt with a zombified Pikachu on the front.
I spent the morning surfing on the Internet and eating chocolate.
Later in the day, when it was half past two o'clock in the afternoon, my ASPA worker Kaarina came to visit me.
We talked about things and stuff, I knitted and wrote into my diary, Kaarina told me that she has started keeping a diary as well, and showed me the diary she had bought.
We made a new appointment on next Monday. Kaarina told me that a substitute will visit me; I would have an appointment with my nurse at two o'clock in the afternoon, so we made the appointment with the substitute at eleven o'clock in the morning.
I left at the same time as her. It was diddly- darn cold outside and the roads were slippery, but at least the sunshine was ever so beautiful.
I visited the bank to open my elephanty bank and take the change along.
I felt the need to go someplace to write into my diary. I went to Myyr York Skate Café, but I didn't feel like staying long because I felt paranoid and anxious.
I was thinking about going for an urbane adventure, but I missed the bus 560 to Rastila and the bus 562 to Mellunmäki.
Finally I decided to take the P train to Helsinki; usually I take the I train, but the P train also goes to Helsinki through the airport and Tikkurila.
Once in the train, I watched the sky getting darker, and I felt decidedly miserable.
I called my momsie and asked her if she can give her prodigal daughter monies, she said yes.
Once in Helsinki, I was thinking about visiting the Amos Anderson art museum, but the idea of free money enticed me so I barely made it to the bus 421 which goes through Raappavuori.
Once in my parents' home, mom gave me a crisp bill of 20 euros and asked me if I wanted coffee.
We had coffee, talked about knitting and my troublesome big brother.
I took the bus 571 to Myyrmäki, bought some rye bread from Citymarket, and now that I had some lovely lolly I also bought a gift for Schlitzie who has her birthday next month, and another gift for Michi; I don't know if I will send it as an Xmas or a birthday gift, considering that Xmas is over by now and her birthday is in October, but whatevsies.
I also bought a magic fushcia ink pen, and a new diary.
Once back home, I put the stuffs into their rightful places and wrapped up the gifts, I really enjoyed it.
