After watching the latest Psych ep...

You know, watching Psych as a Shawn/Gus shipper is a constant rollercoaster ride between "OMG they are SO MARRIED!" and "if only fandom would STOP FREAKING IGNORING THAT."

At least I can trust the show to consistently provide me with the awesome. Not to mention the guest stars.

Gus/Shawn FTW! They're so cute together, it's a shame there aren't more fic. I've fallen hopelessly behind on my Psych watching unfortunately, but the new season is good you say?

They are freaking adorable. :-)

The new season has not yet provided true excellency in terms of plot, but great fun with the guest stars as well as some truly brilliant Shawn/Gus moments.

To use a not too spoilery example, in this ep we learned that Shawn has this photo on his desk:

I haven't done any proper statistic breakdowns, so take these numbers with a grain of salt, but I'd say there are 10 Shawn/Lassie fics and 5 Shawn/Juliet fics on every Shawn/Gus fic. Which makes me rather frustrated as a shipper - I'm used to being in the minority, but not to being in the minority when there's so much evidence supporting my position.

That's crazy! I wonder if it's a race thing because it seems like Gus should be a fan favourite considering his geekiness and general awesomeness.

You're not the only one wondering. Very few other interpretations have presented themselves. I mean, I've heard people say "they're like brothers", but considering the Supernatural and Heroes fandoms... well.
