difference between GI Joes and daddies
This quote from my eldest nephew isn't new, but I hadn't heard it before and it absolutely slayed me, so I'm sharing it anyway.
Upon seeing a GI Joe doll for the first time:
Nephew: The man has waffles on his stomach.
Sister: Yes, some men have that.
Nephew: Oh. Daddy doesn't have waffles on his stomach.
*giggles* Good thing my brother-in-law is unlikely to care one way or another.
