DW fic help & random money ramble

Things I end up doing when technically I should be working on a fanfic:
* Googling GNP per capita across the world.
* Finding out where Sweden lies on the list. (8)
* Finding out where I lie on the listI am somewhere between Spain and United Arab Emirates. Which is pretty far up, though still only about half of what I should be making as a Swede

Jack definitely isn't from Earth. He's from a planet in the Boaeshan peninsula, which he mentions in Last of the Time Lords and which we see in the TW episode Adam in his memories there. It totally looks like Tattoine, but never mind that. Point being: not from Earth.

Wouldn't the Boaeshan peninsula (however it's spelled) be on a planet? And for all we know, Earth in the 51st century might look like Tattooine. :-) Anyway, as long as I can put him on a colony planet without people screaming bloody murder I'm happy.

Okay, I looked up the quote, and the spelling: "I used to be a poster boy when I was a kid in the Boeshane Peninsula. The first one ever to be signed up for the Time Agency ... the Face of Boe, they called me."

In "The End of the World", the Boeshane Peninsula is said to be within "The Silver Devastation", which in turn is of course where Yana remembers having been found as a child in "Utopia".
